What Kinds of Mentorship Can You Offer?

1:1 Sessions

Personalised online mentoring via Google Meet guides someone through a specific upcycling project or teach a new technique.



Group Workshops

Host live online sessions with multiple attendees. Set your minimum and maximum numbers the class only runs if the minimum is met.



Recurring Classes / Events

Plan a series of sessions or standalone themed workshops. We handle the bookings, reminders, and payments.

You don’t need a formal teaching background to become a mentor with The Upcycle Atelier, just your skills, creativity, and a willingness to share what you know. Here’s what you’ll need to join our platform and start mentoring:

A passion for upcycling, repair, or sustainable craft

Whether you specialise in textiles, furniture restoration, decorative arts, or creative reuse, your enthusiasm for transforming waste into beauty is at the heart of what we do.

Availability for online mentoring (you set the schedule)

You decide when you’re available. Whether you prefer daytime, evenings, weekends, or ad hoc bookings, you’re in full control of your calendar.



A portfolio or images of your work

To help learners understand your style and expertise, we ask that you upload a few clear images of your previous work.



A reliable internet connection and a device for video calls

All mentoring sessions are held online, typically via Zoom. A laptop, tablet, or smartphone with a good camera and microphone is all you need to connect with learners around the world.
